7 Physical Benefits of Keto
These 7 physical benefits of Keto are what I have experienced. I have now reached the breakthrough mark of having lost 50 pounds. Have gone from a size 20W to a size 16. Probably if I didn’t have so much fat around my belly and waist I would be wearing a smaller size than 16.
Over the course of the 5 months, it has taken me to lose the weight I also have had some dramatic changes to my body including these 7 physical benefits of Keto.

Improved strength in my muscles
Noticed this shortly after starting Keto. Before when trying to get up off of the floor, I would have to use my arms, on a couch or chair, to help me up.
After only being on Keto for a few weeks I was able to get up off the floor just using one hand on the floor.
Elimination of stomach problems
Before Keto, I used to sit in the bathroom clutching my stomach with horrible pains. I couldn’t go shopping without getting pains and having to go to the bathroom.
No more diarrhea
Diarrhea was a real problem I had that I thought I had gotten from my mother. Actually, I found out that it was the lack of stomach acid. When my husband got sick we learned about the “burp” test, which you can read about on my page Apple Cider Vinegar for Weight Loss.
Improved eyesight
Went to the eye doctor after I had been on Keto for about 13 weeks. She tested my eyes and even though I have floaters, she said that my eyesight was good enough that I didn’t need to wear my glasses anymore. In fact, she said that it would be best if I didn’t wear them when driving.
What a shock, since I had been wearing contacts or glasses since I was 20 years old. The eye doctor also stated that the elimination of sugar was a determining factor in the improved eyesight.
Smoother Skin
All my dry skin is gone. Even my feet and elbows.
Lots and lots of energy
My husband and I were only on Keto for a couple of weeks when we started to get real energy and motivation.

Keto is a wonderful way to eat
Once you really get into it you will find that it is self-sustaining.
I did do Intermittent Fasting and took the Apple Cider Vinegar but without doing Keto I couldn’t have continued with Intermittent Fasting. And there is no way that I would have kept taking that awful tasting Apple Cider Vinegar.
When I started Keto I didn’t take any pictures of myself. I thought it would be just like all the other diets I had tried and the most I would lose would be 20 lbs and then I would just put them right back on. Like I always had before. Hopefully, some of my relatives have some before pictures so I can show “before and after” pictures.
30 more pounds is all I have left to lose. I am certain that with Keto, intermittent fasting and Apple Cider Vinegar they will come off as well.
