Financial Freedom with Money Honey

Since hearing about Morgana Rea and her book “Financial Alchemy” I have really had an interesting time finding my Money Honey and interacting with him.

Financial freedom is what I am looking for. The other benefits I have found along the way really add to the journey.

My Money Monsters

In the book you work at getting rid of your “Money Monster” and substitute it with your “Money Honey”. I worked on getting rid of my Money Monster and so my Money Honey showed up, when I was lying in bed with the covers off.

He looked down at me and said, “Look at you. Your fat, the house is cluttered and dirty, and you’ve given up taking care of yourself.” And then he turned and walked away. (Mind you, I know this was all a fantasy in my mind but I was still devastated because I knew it was all true).

I found Keto, Intermittent Fasting and Apple Cider Vinegar

It was shortly after that I found Keto, Intermittent Fasting and Apple Cider Vinegar. I now had something that could get me moving and caring about myself again. After being on Keto-IF-ACV for a while I started getting energy from both the weight loss and my health improvement.

Working on identifying my Money Monster I found him to be big, ugly and had really big feet. He stomped around trying to intimidate me. Shooting him or cutting him up to get rid of him I knew would still leave a body around and I didn’t want that so I put him in a box and made the box smaller and smaller until it finally went “poof” and disappeared. It was time for my Money Honey to show up.

So, I waited…and waited…and waited and finally a few starting showing up who wanted to be my Money Honey but when my ex-husband showed up I knew I had a problem. My ex-husband was good with getting money but he wasn’t someone I could have a good relationship with and Morgana said that it was someone who could love you and woo you and that you would know when the right one came along. Back to waiting.

It seemed that I still had another Money Monster hiding back there somewhere (the place was just a white floor without any walls). I worked with him trying to get him to come closer and closer until one day he finally showed up in front of me. He wasn’t bad looking but he was dressed up in a suit that had a lot of shinny buttons on it and a hat with something on it that I couldn’t recognize. He also had a great big grin on his face. I immediately knew who he was.

My husband and I loved to gamble. This was my Money Monster from all the money we were losing from gambling. I am a fairly lucky person so of course that just pushed me to gamble more but I know we didn’t come out even, mostly in the hole.

When I recognized him, he said, “step right up I have all these fun and shiny things you can do.” When I told my husband about this Money Monster he called him a shyster, and that was what he was. So I put him in a box (wasn’t easy) and closed it up and started to make it smaller and smaller, then he stuck his head out and said, “but I have fun and shiny things for you”. I pushed him back in the box and quickly made it smaller and smaller until it went “poof”.

Finally, I was free of all my Money Monsters (or so I thought). It was maybe another week or so before my Money Honey showed up.

My Money Honey is Gorgeous

Sitting working at my desk at home one day this tall handsome guy showed up. He got down on one knee and presented me with an emerald ring. As Morgana said with her Money Honey this guy wanted to woo me. He stayed with me on and off for a while but seemed to be getting scarcer and scarcer, so I asked him, “Why he wasn’t around very much?” He said, “It’s boring, you don’t do anything fun.” He was right, all I did was work and sleep. Taking out my Financial Alchemy book I looked up how to make my Money Honey happy and I noticed that he liked to dance. So did I.

Since starting Keto, IF and ACV my weight had been coming off steadily but lately I had been having plateaus, maybe dancing would help. Got out my iPod put on some 60’s dance music and started dancing in the morning before breakfast (which I had switched to just walnuts and almonds) dancing for about 15 to 20 minutes a day. 60’s music didn’t have a good enough beat so I switched to 80’s dance music.

This made my Money Honey happy. He would stand there watching with a big smile on his face. I told him he needed to dance too, and about all he could manage was putting the head forward like an Egyptian. But he would throw his head back and give out a big barrow laugh at me. Whenever I don’t feel like dancing, he just says, “not even for me?” and I just have to get up and dance for him.

My Money Honey encouraged me to work on my self-discipline and so I set up a goal; went through the “15 steps to master self-discipline” by Alux on YouTube.; setup a big board with each step and started work on my goal. The only problem was that I wasn’t getting any extra money in and my Money Honey wasn’t helping any in that area. I told him that I need help.

One day somebody else showed up and said the he was my Money Honey. He looked like a nerd but someone that could help me with what I was trying to do to earn money. I asked what had happened to Andrew my original Money Honey and he popped up and said he was still here but he got me someone else to help me too.

This Money Honey named Paul put great ideas in my head to keep me going. The extra money coming in is slow but I know it will happen with the great ideas and help that my two Money Honey’s are giving me.

My Money Honey has given me confidence and the will to accomplish the things I need to. He makes me want to do what is necessary to make me happy and full of life. I love him just as he loves me.
