Keto Lifestyle is healthy
I have read how people say that their doctors don’t want them to go on the Keto lifestyle because it isn’t good for them. Or that their family says that they shouldn’t be eating the Keto way. I personally have lived with Keto for 6 months and can tell you the Keto Lifestyle is healthy for me and my husband.
All the things that were wrong with me are either better or gone completely. You can read a timeline of how those improvements happened here: 4 Months in see my Keto – Intermittent Fasting – Apple Cider Vinegar Journey
Hopefully, my blog will dispel any fears you may have.
Problems I had before Keto
- Hard to get up off floor
- Stomach aches and loose bowels
- Can’t cross my legs
- Need glasses
- Don’t sleep well
- Have no ambition
- Getting harder to remember things
- Have a big gut
- Wearing size 20W
- It’s so hard to reach everywhere when taking a shower
If you are wondering why I don’t have any aches, pains or stiffness you need to read my website about the Lakhovsky Coil that you make yourself and wear. The information is free. www.howtostopbackpain.org
I am really starting to get that Keto look
What is that Keto look? Well, if you look at before and after pictures, you will notice that they look like mother and daughter instead of the same person before Keto and after Keto. I admit that I am doing Intermittent Fasting too and that it increases your HGH – Human Growth Hormone which is a hormone that reverses the aging process.
Granted a lot of the problems I had would naturally be relieved with just losing weight. But the feeling that you get from the Keto and Intermittent Fasting is totally different from all the other diets I have tried (there have been lots). Keto changes your brain. Most people say that it clears your mind and gives you better focus, but it is much more than that.
Keto gives you confidence and an overall caring about yourself
You want to fix yourself up, polish your nails, get your hair color changed, get new makeup or wear less makeup, and of course, buy new clothes. This change doesn’t happen from just the weight loss because it starts after the first few pounds are coming off. It is also what spurs you on to continue with the Keto and Intermittent Fasting way of life.
I have been doing Keto and Intermittent Fasting for 5 months now and feel like I did when I was in my 30’s. I still have 30 lbs. yet to lose and I’m hoping by then I will fill like I did in my 20’s.
Most all my health issues have gone, but there is still some changes that have to take place on my body that I am looking forward to. Like my face getting younger looking, getting my flat stomach, the flabby parts of my arms gone and my double chin going away.
All I know is that with all the wonderful improvement I have seen on the outside of my body, I can only imagine what great improvement has gone on inside.
I love the Keto and Intermittent Fasting Lifestyle
Yes, I have to admit I sometimes wish I could have bread or noodles. Those are the things I miss most and I haven’t found a substitute that makes me happy so I do without.
I love the Keto and Intermittent Fasting Lifestyle. It’s great not having to worry about eating all the time in fact for the first time in my life I am “Eating to live, and not living to eat”. I have filled my life with other things to do, that I would normally have spent worrying about what to eat and spending the time fixing the food, or going out to get food.
My husband’s Diabetes and Keto
My husband got very ill and lost 40 pounds in 1 month. The doctor at the VA said it was diabetes and when his numbers came back his A1C was 14.3 and his blood sugar was 523. The doctor said he didn’t know how he was walking around.
They gave him the pills and told him how to take the shots and sent him on his way. After I listened to all that, I told him that there was no way I was going to have him take that stuff for the rest of his life.
We started researching how to lower his numbers naturally. We found the Keto Lifestyle. He is doing Lazy Keto (which means he doesn’t keep track of fats, proteins, and carbs) and just works at keeping it close to the suggested 70% fat, 20% proteins, & 10% carbs.
After the 1st and 2nd month his blood sugar was down to the 160’s to 140’s. By the 3rd month they were down to the 120’s. Then after the 4th month he is now ranging between 98 and 116. I would say that it has been a success. Since going back to the doctor and getting tests his health is showing up as really great.
Keto is the perfect way to health
So all in all I would say that Keto has been the perfect way to health for us.
